Matt + Nat go to India: Part 5… Finding Buddha

india6

So I get the latest Matt and Nat video when they were just about to get on their 15 hour train ride from Darjeeling to Jaipur. I am so jealous… Reado and I have already decided we’re going to plan the next adventure with Matt & Nat, I’m thinking Thailand but Reado’s thinking Amsterdam. Two very different place! HAHA! Well, let’s get finish one adventure first before we start planning the next one!!

In Nat’s words:

India is such an incredible and bizarre experience. Sometimes (actually most of the time) I can’t even believe I’m here. This video of our first full day in Darjeeling where aside from exploring the small winding streets and dropping into temples and buying scarves we randomly wandered towards what used to be the Bengal Natural History Museum in Darjeeling and it coincidentally ended up being the third and final day that these three Buddhist relics containing the bones of Buddha and his disciples Sariputra and Mahamoggallana were being displayed. I was literally in the presence of Buddha. Un-freaking-believable. I’m not a Buddhist but I couldn’t help but be incredibly moved by it.

I can’t believe that you guys got to see the remains of Buddha!

I also think its kind of random that there was something about that template that was drawing you in to investigate!!

Anyway, great work guys and keep ‘em coming!
